gone on PHOTOGRAPHY BREAK

sorry it took me a while to post again, i have to say that due to my opening of AR Photography in my hometown Manson, Iowa i just can't find a second to scrapbook. Sad as it is.. so this blog will stand still for a little while until the days will get shorter and the wheater will force me to stay home and make me scrapbook again!!!

it took me a while..

..but finally i got my scrapbooking pages photographed and on my laptop.

Those two layouts i did on my vacation. I scrapped as much as i got inspired down there.. but without my little desk and german tv going and everything.. i didn't got quit that much inspired that i thought i would be

But i have to be thankful for what i got done.. and here it is!

layouts and PRIZE!!

i got my prize in the mail from the sister's challenge i played along at the fabulous National Scrapbooking Day!! Got i am excited.. so many Hambly's and RubOn's! I am already thinking about all those fantastic things i could do with them.


And than.. what is it with me and all those deadlines i always manage to miss by one day.. god i hate it! i guess i just need way to much time to get done with a layout! But i need to be creative in order to do something.. and i am not creative every hour of my day.. sometimes i am sitting in front of a half done layout for hours not knowing what to do with it..

I have to admit that i still have one or two layouts sitting here somewhere waiting for them to get finished.. hopefully someday i will have the idea i was waiting for the whole time and than i am able to finish them.. finally!

So here.. is one of those layouts where i missed the deadline by a couple of days, cause i just couldn't think of how to design the rest of my playlist!

But i had a lot of fun doing the research on my favourite songs right now.. thank god for itunes!

my first senior shoot is done and i just had to scrapbook about it! and try to use some of the new Scarlet Lime Kit i got in the mail a week ago. LOVE the kit, not so much the layout!

but i got the journaling done and that was the most important on thise page!

all my colorful thougth bubbles

my little ally got some bubbles for her birthday.. and that's pretty much my job now to make bubbles for her and her friend. So all i am seeing right now are bubbles! And here they are my wonderful colorful thought bubbles!


oh shoot.. it is on the side.. oh well we all need some head exercise sitting on the computer! a little tilt to the right and stretch! now i should post another layout turned to the left!

i am excited!

One of my layouts got picked again for the catwalk at Sistv. Last week it was my BEST layout, i thought i screwed up in the beginning and this is why i started journaling and painting and.. awesome it turned out great!

And the other was my SUMMER layout i made yesterday. Got a little inspired by Corinne's NSD SKETCH! challenge. Loved the circle idea!

And i also discovered that Mikaela is showing one of my layouts i made for the BEAT CONTROL challenge over at the MUSIC makes the people come together challenge blog. Love her video challenges!! It is really something totally different to let yourself gettin inspired by a music video.. challenges you in a whole different way i think!

So this weekend was super exciting for all the scrapbooking addicts out there.. for me not sooo much! cause as a mama from a one year old, you can't sit in front of your computer and desk all day! I WISH!

But as much as i could.. i of course did! And than how fun is that.. the only challenge over at SIStv i could participate in i actually one! I am sooo thrilled.. cause this is now the second time i won something when it comes to Scrapbooking. And normally i don't win! NEVER!





So a couple of weeks ago i won in a random drawing over at Backporch Memories! Package came last week.. full of cute little goodies!

And than i discovered a post on the SIStv message board about showing of the Scrapbook Area in your house! Thought it was fun and so here it is..

Nothing to special.. cause it is right in my daugthers room.. but it is a place i call MINE most of the time! And that's what's important, right?

And since i discovered the greatness of german internet tv, i can watch german television while scrapbooking my heart out! how great is that!

And here is my may manifesto for one of the NSD challenges i tried to participate but i didn't made it on time! But better late than never!

Some new Layouts to share

I was quite busy the last couple of days.. did a lot of scrapbooking and photoworking! Got the new Dozens Kit and the new Scarlet Lime kit and i love them soo much that i could not get away from my desk! Love the bright colors and the fun patternd paper! Specialy the SEI one with all the great textures and flowers!

this is created with the new Dozens kit! Gosh do i love the monster paper and the fun fabric paper from elsie! what a awesome kit!!!

this layout is for the challenge over at the Goodie Box!! Loved the challenge!!!

oh and of course some more scrappiness with the awesome Dozens kit!!! I could finally scrap this Halloween picture without using all those boring Halloween stickers i had flying around! This layout is so much more fun!!!

..and of course the fantastic Scarlet Lime kit. I love it.. this is the only kit club i consider buying the add on kit every month. It is soooo fantastic! And it brings out a totally different Scrapbooker in me! Cause normally i am more of a chaotic scrapbooker with no journaling and just random things on my page.. and cause there comes always those great journal stamps with the kit, i actually started to journal quite a bit on my pages.
